Most High God,
The lure of being "the best" is so prevalent and deceiving in our culture in academics, in athletics, in appearance, in position… on and on. Please help my children not to worship any of these things as gods; instead, create in them the desire to USE THEIR GIFTS and abilities to worship You ALONE, no matter the place or position You have CHOSEN for them.
So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know I am the Lord. Ezekiel 38:23
Dear Lord,
Everything you do, from rightful judgement to undeserved favor, is so that every nation, every family, and every individual will know that you are the Lord. Please soften our hearts to your amazing grace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
