Most High God,
The lure of being "the best" is so prevalent and deceiving in our culture in academics, in athletics, in appearance, in position… on and on. Please help my children not to worship any of these things as gods; instead, create in them the desire to USE THEIR GIFTS and abilities to worship You ALONE, no matter the place or position You have CHOSEN for them.
For you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. Psalm 63:7
Dear Lord,
Give us a song in our heart, one that praises your goodness and celebrates your love. Under your protective care, may each one of us sing for joy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
