Respite For the Weary
The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, because He trusts in Thee. Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.

Dear God of Peace,
Please help my children to keep their mind steadfastly focused on YOU. Fill them with your perfect peace as they trust in You alone - become the everlasting rock to their souls.

Dear Lord,
When we think there is no one to talk to about all our troubles, remind us to turn to you. Whether it's alone in our car, or while taking a shower, or while walking on a trail, help us to speak out loud to you, just as a man speaks to a friend (Ex. 33:11). .You listen; you care; you understand; you help. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
