Dear Lord Jesus,
I pray You will open my children's minds to the beautiful truths found in Your holy word. Give them insight and understanding, I pray.
So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, who felt him and said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau." And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands. So he blessed him." He said, "Are you really my son Esau?" (Isaac) said, "I am." Genesis 27:22-24
Dear Lord,
Please keep us honest. May we never resort to trickery or deceit to bring about our own desires, which often ends in broken relationships and big messes. Rather, help us to walk in truth, trusting you for every outcome in your time and way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
