Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
Dear Lord,
We so often get sidetracked, putting our daily worries and concerns in the forefront of our heart and mind. Recenter us on who you are and remind us that when we seek you first, everything else will fall in place. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
