Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing glory of his name; make his praise glorious! Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great in power that your enemies cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." Psalm 66: 1-4
Dear Lord,
Help each one of us to take part in your chorus of praise. Give us a joyful thought of a tangible provision that has come from your generous hand. And then may we repeat this practice again and again, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
