Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1-2
Dear Lord,
You are the Almighty God who reigns on high. We ask for protection, provision, and peace for all those who may be or are currently in harm's way. Hide them in your shadow. Prevail over the enemy with your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
