Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
But Joseph said to (his brothers), "Do not fear for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today." Genesis 50:19-20
Dear Lord,
When we get fearful or discouraged, help us to remember that the Enemy is not the only one at work, but that you are too! We ask that every plan of evil will be turned on its head, so that your ultimate good would triumph, causing many to trust in you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
