Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not fear, only believe." Mark 5:36
Dear Lord,
You say to each of us, "Do not fear, only believe." Then why do we seemingly hear the opposite, "Do not believe, only fear"? Convict our hearts and strengthen our faith. May we daily choose your promising truths. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
