Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Deuteronomy 33:27
Dear Lord,
There is not a circumstance in our lives nor a feeling in our hearts that you don't already know and understand. When we fall, remind us that your everlasting arms are underneath, ready to catch us. Like a child, we are lifted up with your embrace; we are held close with your love. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
