Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place? Job 38:12
Dear Lord,
You are the commander of the morning, every morning, not just in our lifetime, but since the very first morning in existence. Great is your faithfulness! Let us not forget it. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
