Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Be exalted above the heavens, O God; let your glory be above all the earth. Psalm 57:5
Dear Lord,
When we start getting short-sighted and stressful about our present-day issues, remind us to look up and remember the greatness of your glory that is accompanied by the magnitude of your love. As we trust you, you will work it out. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
