Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Enoch walked with God...Noah walked with God... (Genesis 5:24 and 6:9)
Dear Lord,
Give us a deep desire to walk with you daily. Have conversations with us through your word as we sit and read it, and also through your Spirit as we rise up to do the day. Remind us that your deep desire is to walk with us! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
