Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Be strong and let your heart take courage all you who wait for the Lord. Psalm 31:24
Dear Lord,
Please come; fill us with your strength and courage. In the waiting and the unknown, help us to trust you all the more. For you are faithful and true--yesterday, today, and forever. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
