Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Then the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel...and the spirit of Joshua...and the spirit of all the remnant of the people. And they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God. Haggai 1:14
Dear Lord,
Stir up our spirits so that we will do your work! Give us your passion for your purpose. May we respond with fervor to whatever you are calling us to do both individually and collectively. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
