Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering yourself with light as a tent curtain. Psalm 104:1-2
Dear Lord,
Please open our eyes to your splendor and majesty so that we can develop a humble heart. For you, O God, are very great. In Jesus' Name, Amen
