Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
(Paul said), "And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32
Dear Lord,
There is nothing more precious than your word! It is full of grace, building up, sustaining, reviving, and sanctifying!. So, cause our hearts to cling to it--make it our lifeline, today and forever. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
