Respite For the Weary
O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones. And your sons will be taught of the Lord; and the well-being of your sons will be great.
Isaiah 54: 11-13
O God of Peace,
Please come in and steady the hearts of my children when they are weary, confused, sad, or lonely. Rebuild their faith in You, I pray. Make them beautifully strong once again, causing them to shine Your radiance into this dark world. Help them to remember nothing is impossible with You, O God.
The way of the righteous is smooth; O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level. Isaiah 26:7
Dear Lord,
Please remove any obstacle that is hindering our walk with you. Smooth out our path as we trust and obey your word. Help us to lean into you as we move forward in faith, all the while, holding your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
