Respite For the Weary
O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones. And your sons will be taught of the Lord; and the well-being of your sons will be great.

O God of Peace,
Please come in and steady the hearts of my children when they are weary, confused, sad, or lonely. Rebuild their faith in You, I pray. Make them beautifully strong once again, causing them to shine Your radiance into this dark world. Help them to remember nothing is impossible with You, O God.

Dear Lord,
Your love cannot be fully measured! It is from everlasting to everlasting! It surpasses knowledge! It's better than life because it goes to the grave and rises again! How can we explain the breadth and length and height and depth of it? Please Jesus, even if we can't put words to your amazing love, may our hearts fully believe and be overcome by it.
