Respite For the Weary
O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones. And your sons will be taught of the Lord; and the well-being of your sons will be great.

O God of Peace,
Please come in and steady the hearts of my children when they are weary, confused, sad, or lonely. Rebuild their faith in You, I pray. Make them beautifully strong once again, causing them to shine Your radiance into this dark world. Help them to remember nothing is impossible with You, O God.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? Psalm 56:10-11
Dear Lord,
Help our trust in you to be steadfast, resolved, and unwavering, even when the circumstances around us are unclear. Your Name is great, your works are awesome, and your words are true. We will put our trust in you today, all day, as we move forward into the unknown. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
