Respite For the Weary
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Dear Author and Perfecter of Faith,
I pray my children will wholeheartedly believe in Your great Name. Keep their eyes fixed on You and You alone, I pray. And as their faith grows day by day, may each of them feel Your pleasure and Your blessing.
He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?" Luke 8: 25
Dear Lord,
Forgive us when the storms of life engulf us. Realign our faith to you, the One who can calm the wind and the waves with a few commanding words. Rather than being overwhelmed by our trials, we ask you to overwhelm us with your power and your peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
