To The ReaderOver the years of mothering my four children, the Lord has convicted me to go deeper in my prayer life on their behalf. While praying for their daily physical needs is appropriate, I believe as parents, we have the opportunity to bless their hearts with so much more. Praying God's word over our children will not only bless them now, but also for years and years to come. Within this journal, I have selected a passage from God's word, and then written a correlating prayer beside the verses. Dear Lord,
When we may have idle moments in our day, cause us to fill it with prayer and praise rather than mindless distractions. Help us to realize acknowledging you, within our hearts or out loud, is never a waste of time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
