Respite For the Weary
And He said to me, "Prophecy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"… so I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Dear Breath of Life,
I pray for my children when they experience feelings of hopelessness and dismay. Cause them to turn to Your word so that You can "breathe" new life and Your great power into their hearts and minds. May they hear Your word, and obey Your word with a thankful spirit.
And Sarai said to Abram, "Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant, it may be that I shall obtain children by her." And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai. Genesis 16:2
Dear Lord,
Please help us not take matters into our own hands. Give us patience with your timing and your plan. In the waiting, may we cultivate a deep assurance that your way is best. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
