Respite For the Weary
And He said to me, "Prophecy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"… so I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Dear Breath of Life,
I pray for my children when they experience feelings of hopelessness and dismay. Cause them to turn to Your word so that You can "breathe" new life and Your great power into their hearts and minds. May they hear Your word, and obey Your word with a thankful spirit.
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not smite you by day nor the moon by night. Psalm 121:5-6

Just as a small child stands underneath his parent's physical shadow, you too, take care to guard each one of us. Please Lord, hold onto our hands, even when we start to pull away. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
