Respite For the Weary
And He said to me, "Prophecy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"… so I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Dear Breath of Life,
I pray for my children when they experience feelings of hopelessness and dismay. Cause them to turn to Your word so that You can "breathe" new life and Your great power into their hearts and minds. May they hear Your word, and obey Your word with a thankful spirit.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11
Dear Lord,
Please give us a new song in our hearts today--one of truth and praise to your Name. As we sing joyfully, we ask you to protect us underneath your wings. For we are your beloved children, leaning in and trusting you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
