Respite For the Weary
And He said to me, "Prophecy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"… so I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ezekiel 37: 4, 10
Dear Breath of Life,
I pray for my children when they experience feelings of hopelessness and dismay. Cause them to turn to Your word so that You can "breathe" new life and Your great power into their hearts and minds. May they hear Your word, and obey Your word with a thankful spirit.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who was given to us. Romans 5:5
Dear Lord,
How can we ever thank you for pouring your love deep into our hearts? Maybe you would respond, "Pour it right back out, all over my people". In Jesus' Name,
