Respite For the Weary
And He said to me, "Prophecy over these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'"… so I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ezekiel 37: 4, 10
Dear Breath of Life,
I pray for my children when they experience feelings of hopelessness and dismay. Cause them to turn to Your word so that You can "breathe" new life and Your great power into their hearts and minds. May they hear Your word, and obey Your word with a thankful spirit.
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1
Dear Lord,
So often the things of this world tie us in knots. Remind us that this is not all there is. Help us to seek higher things, such sharing your love through our words and actions; because it is your love that will last forever. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
