Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. Psalm 12:6
Dear Lord,
There is nothing more pure than the words that you speak. They are filled with grace and truth; they are holy and righteous; they are hope-filled and eternal. Why would we live by anything else? In Jesus' Name, Amen.
