Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
The Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100:5
Dear Lord,
As we seek you daily, give us a greater understanding of your steadfast love; and then implore us to use our unique voices in sharing your goodness to the next generation. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
