Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. Psalm 138:6
Dear Lord,
As we humbly bow to you, make us aware of your loving presence. You promise to be near to the contrite and lowly! Please Lord, come and embrace, love and lift, restore and renew. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
