Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21
Dear Lord,
Cause our hearts to be in tune with your Spirit. May your word direct us in the way we should go, in both big and little decisions. Whisper your will into to our souls. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
