Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars... Psalm 29:5
Dear Lord,
Your voice is both powerful and majestic! Your word says...the God of glory thunders...the voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire (Psalm 29:3,7). Help us to remember this truth and be humbled by it. Give us a renewed awe of your supreme nature and your sovereign control. In Jesus Name, Amen.
