Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed. Revelation 4:11
Dear Lord,
We rejoice in you! For you have created all things--sun, moon, and stars--ocean waves and mountain views--birds that fly and animals that run--and most of all, newborn babies who will grow up and follow you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
