Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. Romans 3:10-11
Dear Lord,
The bad news is: we are a mess. We're stubborn, selfish and full of pride. We choose to go our own way. The good news is: you came to save us. You are altogether pure and holy. You came to seek and to save the lost. Please draw us into your inexplicable mercy, Lord Jesus! In your Name, Amen.
