But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

King Eternal,
Only by Your grace my children are Your chosen people. Remind and convict their hearts that they are not their own - that they belong to you. May they be full of wonder at the miracle which You performed in each of them - drawing them out of darkness into Your marvelous light!
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! 1 Chronicles 16:11
Dear Lord,
When we are weak, remind us of your strength. When we are confused, remind us of your counsel. When we are sorrowful, remind us of your compassion. Cause us to seek you continually, keeping our hearts and minds stayed on you. For in you, there is abundance and blessing. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
