Respite For the Weary
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

Dear Lord of Might,
Continue to press into the hearts of my children. Give them a driving desire to do Your will with JOY. Help them always remember that their work for You, no matter how "menial" the task may seem, is never done in vain. Encourage them, dear Lord, when they begin to lose heart.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." John 14:27
Dear Lord,
The only peace that is true peace is your peace. Everything else is temporary and partial. But your-out-of-this-world peace pours into the depths of our soul and fills us completely. Prince of peace, please come! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
