Take a quiet minute to focus on the underground elements of a tree: the seed, the soil, and the roots. With this in mind, consider the importance of being spiritually planted in God’s rich soil.

This is amazing...

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. John 1: 9-10

Dear Lord,

You stepped into the very world that you formed--the Creator in the midst of the created--the Sustainer walking among the sustained. This is amazing! Continue to enlighten our eyes and soften our hearts so we can know you more every day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
