Write any phrases from the selected Bible verses that speak to you:
Take a quiet minute to focus on the underground elements of a tree: the seed, the soil, and the roots. With this in mind, consider the importance of being spiritually planted in God’s rich soil.
Where is your seed planted?
How deep are your roots?
Write a prayer using the daily verses as a reference:
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32
Dear Lord,
First and foremost may we know the truth of who you are, Savior of the world AND Savior of our individual hearts. Then, we ask you to give us a desire to abide in your living word, trusting it completely so we can experience freedom like we've never known! Help us to realize everything else is the opposite, binding us to lesser gods that ultimately cause hardship rather than blessing. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
