Respite For the Weary
Isaiah 9:6
For a child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:21-23
And she will bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus... for it is He who will save His people from their sins. Now all this took place that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled saying, “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means “God with us”.

Accept Me.
Accept My gifts. Jesus
I will strengthen you; I will also help you. I will also uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Dear Lord,
Strengthen us when we are weak. Help us when we are discouraged. Uphold us when we are wanting to call it quits. Remind us of your powerful presence in every circumstance, day in and day out. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
