Romans 5:3-5
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribula- tion brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Colossians 1:27
God willed to make known...this mystery...which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Lamentations 3:21-25
This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope. The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.
Romans 5:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
My Child,
I came to give you hope. When I am living and reigning in you, you can face today, tomorrow, and forever. Let me walk with you today so that I can fill your heart with song. Also, remember this is not your home. Live with the great anticipation that you will someday enter heaven... a place that possesses “an eternal weight of glory far beyond all com- parison” (II Corinthians 4:17). Live on earth, with the hope of heaven in your heart.
Immanuel
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up my childish ways. 1 Corinthians 13:11
Dear Lord Jesus,
You tell us to be childlike in our faith, but you also implore us to grow up. Show us the difference! As we trust in you wholeheartedly, grow us in wisdom and knowledge, not just for intellectual purposes, but for maturity in our emotions and our actions. Help us to replace childish ways with Christlike ones. In your Name, Amen.
