DECEMBER 2 ~ He is The Redeemer

By Chris Baxter

Titus 2:14

(Christ Jesus) gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every law- less deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good works.

Galatians 3:13-14

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.” He redeemed us in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Job 19:25

And as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives...

Psalm 103:1,4

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name... who redeems your life from the pit; who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion.

Isaiah 43:1

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!

My Child,
I am your Redeemer. I paid your ransom with My life so that you could be set free from sin and death. It was My life for yours. Remember the good news: I rose again from the dead in order to give you My Spirit. I am calling your name; let me redeem you. I can make beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Daily Prayer

Know this today

...Know therefore today, and lay it in your heart, that the Lord your God in heaven above and on the earth beneath, there is no other. Deuteronomy 4:39

Dear Lord,

Help us to know today and every day, you alone are God. Nothing came into being without you, and nothing will transpire without your consent. When we have this fundamental truth in place, we also have your abiding peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
