Respite For the Weary
Dear Faithful Readers and Friends of mine,

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water who sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when the heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. Dear Lord,
Renew our trust in you today. May we lean in fully to your endless strength and your intentional love. Like a tree, plant us deep by your living water so that when we send out our roots by faith, they grow strong , unwavering and secure. As a result, may we bear your fruit even in (and mostly in) the hardest of circumstances. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
