Respite For the Weary
The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
Zephaniah 3:17
Dear Lord of Might,
I pray that my children would KNOW that You are always in their midst as a VICTORIOUS WARRIOR! Help them to believe that You are pleased with them - cheering for them, encouraging them, soothing them - cause them to receive YOU, I pray.
But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24
Dear Lord,
Please make us self-less and joy-full! Please give us the ongoing boldness and heart's desire to share the Good News with those who are lost. What a privilege it is to not only be given your grace, but also to be a minister of it. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
