Respite For the Weary
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
O Light of the World,
Cause my children to stay close to You - even when they do not understand where You are leading them. Please give them obedient faith to follow You. Cause their heart to say, "I trust You," each and every step.
Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:1-3
Dear Lord,
You sent your Son to be the Light of the world. Lord Jesus, pierce through our darkness, dismay, and doubt. May we use your word as a lamp and your Spirit as our guide to take the next step in our pre-planned-paths. In Your Name, Amen.
