Respite For the Weary
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

O Light of the World,
Cause my children to stay close to You - even when they do not understand where You are leading them. Please give them obedient faith to follow You. Cause their heart to say, "I trust You," each and every step.
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19
Dear Lord,
Make us wonderfully aware of your presence that abides in us. Just as the sun rises each morning, come alive in us every day with both your goodness and your glory. May we be your light shining in the darkness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
