Respite For the Weary
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
O Light of the World,
Cause my children to stay close to You - even when they do not understand where You are leading them. Please give them obedient faith to follow You. Cause their heart to say, "I trust You," each and every step.
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day..." Exodus 16:4
Dear Lord,
You give and keep giving. You offer your living bread to each one of us on a daily basis; may we choose to gather it up in our hearts and feast on its life-giving, soul-sustaining truths. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
